My Music Magazine Ideas.

I have chosen a title for my magazine, i have called it The East Point Tunes Magazine, a.k.a. EPT or EP Tunes. I have called it EPT because the magazine is from East Anglia. The magazine will contain information from up and coming bands and young, prospective musical phenomenons. The EPT will also cover old bands getting back together and newly found music groups which are older. The EPT will also comment on bands in the charts which are similar to the up and coming bands, we will also comment on their instrument brands and type. The EPT will also have a section for music scouts to check out, it will have links to bands websites and material and it will have the bands contact info; this will help promote bands and get them a recording contract.

I am aiming my magazine to be at all age groups and both genders due to the fact that EPT will contain information on up and coming male and female musicians of all ages and musical types. There will be a lot of different music types in the EPT Magazine ranging from Rock, Rap, Reggae, Soul, Blues and Heavy Metal etc.

My magazine will have a neutral design which reflects all music genres. The EPT will be very modern as well as Vintage. There will be different sections for different styles, for example page 3 will be full of rising rock stars and page 5 will be full of up and coming rappers; because of this there will be a fluid and similar style, design and colour scheme for each page in my magazine.
